Heather Mary Kain, a resident of Hawthorne, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Torrance. Born in Torrance, CA. , Heather was 26 when she died. Heather was a member of St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church and a former student of Bishop Montgomery High School. She completed two years of college at El Camino. Her major was Biology and she had planned to become a physical therapist. When she was in grade school her hobbies were gymnastics and soccer and Girl Scouts. In middle school she continued with Girl Scouts Troop 117 of Hawthorne and Soccer with AYSO. In High School, Choir was her favorite activity, because she could no longer play soccer due to knee problems. Her most treasured memories were with her friends. She is survived by her Mother, Maura Kain of Hawthorne, CA and Father, Robert Kain of Trenton, TX. A Service will be held at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., with a burial to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. A reception will be at the home of Maura Kain following the burial.
