Henry Osborne passed away on February 14, 2025 in his home in Torrance, California with his wife, Novie at his bedside. He was born in September 18, 1952 in Glendale, California. He was raised in Northridge, California, a member of the first graduating of Granada Hills High School. Henry earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from St. Mary's College, Moraga, California.
After dwelling in Hawaii for several years, Henry accepted a teaching position in 1997 from the Torrance School District. He was a highly respected Science teacher at Torrance's Bert Lynn Middle School. He retired in 2024.
Henry's smile was always present in his many outdoor activities including bicycling, surfing, camping, hiking and backpacking. The last included many trips to the high Sierras, his favorites being Lady Bug Falls, and Bull Lake.
Henry is survived by his wife, Novie and numerous friends.
Services will be held at Lighthouse Memorials and Receptions, White & Day Center, 901 Torrance Blvd. Redondo Beach, California at 10AM on March 8. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
