Henry Edward Weseman

Henry Edward Weseman, a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the age of 89. The son of Herbert and Julia Weseman, Henry (known as Hank) grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He was born August 12, 1933. Upon graduation from Manhattan College, he entered the Air Force as a Second Lieutenant. Hank valued his service highly and attained the rank of Colonel. Hank received numerous awards for his contributions and was awarded the Legion of Merit in 1975. He retired from the U.S Air Force 1975 and settled permanently in Manhattan Beach, California.

Hank had a wry sense of humor, and a warm engaging smile. He enjoyed country western dancing, and socializing, but most of all he loved being with his family and grandchildren.

Hank was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife Elaine Weseman. He is survived by his three children, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild.

Services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park on April 5, 2023 at noon.
