I worked with Jim at Harper SID in 1985-1989. He always energized the room and made you laugh. Our paths crossed recently when he showed up as a sales rep for Closet World. We recognized each other and had some laughs. He shared with me about his darling girlfriend Debbie and told me how much he loved her and the strong connection he had with her. He was beaming when talking about her. I just found out through closet world about his death. I was looking forward to hearing him play when Music venues opened up. Not to be. He’s playing for a higher audience.

Jim was a long time volunteer and former Board Member with our non-profit agency The Arc South Bay.  His band played at our Christmas parties and he generously gave not only of his time but of his pocketbook throughout the year.  He always treated our intellectual and developmentally disabled program participants with dignity and respect while bringing smiles to their faces.  We will miss him greatly.

Jim was my first real love. I call him the love of my life. Wonderful person, great laugh. My condolences to his sisters and his love Debbie. I am blessed to have loved him in my heart for 47 years. May your transition from this earth be into the arms of a special angel.
