Joan Louise Hampton, a 60 year resident of Torrance, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Born in Spiro, Oklahoma, Joan was 87 when she died. Joan is survived by daughters, Claudine Hayes of Fountain Valley and Deborah Haroldson of Torrance. Joan had five grandchildren: Treasure Guy of Huntington Beach, Spencer Hayes of Huntington Beach, Jennifer Estrada of Anaheim, Richard Estrada of Torrance and Tyler Haroldson of Torrance. She had three great-grandchildren: Brittany Nichol Guy, Brooke Michelle Guy and Jack James Hayes. Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Eugene Hampton and parents Claud and Lena Peerson.
