Joy Bliss of Hawthorne passed away, family at her side, on June 12, 2016. Joy was born September 24, 1939 to Joy and Bernice West. Long time Hawthorne resident Joy is survived by her husband of 57 years Sheldon, her brother Michael West, children Shelly B. Thompson and Dan Bliss and four beloved grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Service will be held 9:30 am, June 24, 2016 at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503.
