Karen K Fitch

Karen K Fitch “KK”, 89, of Torrance, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. She was born on October 12, 1936, in Elkhart County, IN. She was the oldest child of Kennett K Fitch and Eleanor (Wolfe) Miller.

Karen was an exceptional accountant, a proud postal worker as well as a community servant in several roles. Karen loved genealogy and the history of her ancestors and rescued many a dog in need of a loving home.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, her aunts Rosalie (Walt) Mansfield, Honor (Dick) Demaree, and uncle Norman (Josephine) Wolfe, and her best friend Pat Brown.

Karen is survived by her brother Allen K Fitch of Barberton, Ohio and sister Susan K Miller of Clear Creek, CA; cousins Janet (Will) Clark, Judy (Jim) Longenecker, of Elkhart, IN, Steve (Sue) Mansfield of South Bend, IN, Barb (Stan) Egolf of Columbia City, IN, Doug (Robin) Demaree of Valparaiso, IN, Dave Demaree of Merrillville, IN; nephew Daniel (Cindy) Messick of Clovis, CA, Bob (Jackie) Bianchi of Soledad, CA, Jeff and Jason Fitch, niece Jeanine & Logan Fitch and many friends and acquaintances that she held dear.

Karen was laid to rest next to her best friend Pat Brown at Valley Oaks Memorial Cemetery, Westlake Village, CA on Thursday February 27, 2026.
