Loretta Mary Cloud

Cloud, Loretta Mary, a 65 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in Carson. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Loretta was 101 when she died. Loretta was a member of St. Anthony's Senior Club, Gardena Moose Lodge WOTM #30, V.F.W. Auxiliary Gardena and the Emblem Club of Gardena. She worked as a Telephone Operator and enjoyed Walking, Gardening and Bingo. Loretta also loved knitting items to sell for disabled and blind charities, helping others and was a fan of Johnny Mathis music.

She is survived by her Son, Jerry Cloud of Sunnyvale, CA; Son, William (Bill) Cloud of Carson, CA; Granddaughter, Carol Cloud of Santa Cruz, CA; Grandson, Danny Cloud of Costa Mesa, CA; Granddaughter, Mary Cloud of Grass Valley, CA; Grandson, Mike Cloud of Boulder Creek, CA; and Granddaughter, Leslie Turner of Jackson Hole, WY., 5 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Loretta was preceded in death by her Husband, Harlan Cloud, Mother, Laura Webber Bouvier, and Father, William Bouvier.

A gathering of family & friends will be held at McMillan & McCormick Mortuary in Gardena on Friday February 2, 2007 from 4 to 8pm. The Service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Gardena on Saturday February 3 at noon. Burial will be private.
