Louise J. Hansen

Louise J. Hansen passed away on October 14, 2003 of lung cancer in Torrance California. Born Louise J. Bodenshot on June 12, 1923 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she went on to marry another Grand Rapids native, Charles Hansen in 1939. In 1963 the family moved to Southern California.. After relocating to California, Louise went to work for Anaheim Plastics as their controller.. She worked there until her retirement in 1993. The last ten years of her life were spent with her dear friend, Eileen Pedelupe in the Lake Chapala area of Mexico. Her husband, and her son Charles Hansen II preceded her in death. Louise is survived by her daughter, Michele Montgomery of Redondo Beach, California; brothers, Donald Bodenshot of Spring Hill, Florida, and Edwin Bodenshot of Grand Rapids, Michigan; grandsons Charles Hansen of Santa Monica, California, Crill Hansen of Santa Monica, California, and Kenneth Montgomery of Redondo Beach, California; daughter-in-law Yvonne Hansen of Santa Monica, California; and son-in-law Gary Ferrell of Dallas, Texas. Visitation will be Friday evening, October 17, 2003 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2003, both at the White & Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach, California. Private interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Brea, California.
