Marcella Frances Carroll

A former 30 year resident of Torrance, died March 9, 2007, at the age of 89, from pneumonia. Marcella, "Marcy" was born one of four children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Easter Monday, April 16, 1917, the daughter of George Francis Bradley and Edith "Irene" (Bourdon) Bradley. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim (Samia) Carroll and Shawn (Teresa) Carroll, her daughters and sons-in-law, Marlayne (Dave) Berger and Michele (Bill) Jay, her 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, her sister-in-law, Barbara Bradley, her cousins, and her many nieces & nephews, all of whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her former husband of 30 years, Clifford Joseph Carroll, (Aka: Joseph William Carroll), her youngest son, Gary Joseph Carroll, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrna (Fred) Peters and Edith (Alan) Bridgeman, and her younger brother, Russell "Rusty" Bradley. Marcella was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend, whom was known for her kind and generous heart, fun loving spirit, and great sense of humor. Mom, Grandma, ( Aka: Lil' Grandma & Nana) we will miss you so much but you will be forever in our hearts...until we meet again. A " Celebration of Life" Memorial Service will be held at the Rice Mortuary Chapel in Torrance on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. (reception following).
