
Margie Stout, 69, a life-long resident of the South Bay passed away November 26, 2009 at her home in Torrance. She was born January 31, 1940 in Redondo Beach. She attended local schools and was a 1958 graduate of Mira Costa High School. In 1954 she was Worthy Advisor if Rainbow Girls, an organization for young women affiliated with the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. She retired in 2005 after a distinguished 45 year career with Alcoa, a local aerospace company.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Milton and Ruth Stout and a brother, Bill B. Stout. She is survived by her God Daughter, Charlene Lawrence of Redondo Beach, God Son Milton Stout of Riverside, her best friend of 50 years, Mary Lou Valadez, two sisters, Nancy Wainwright, Yucca Valley California, Barbara Velez long Beach, two brothers, jack Stout and wife Margret of Torrance and Wayne Stout of Yucca Valley, eleven nieces and nephews, fourteen great nieces and nephews, and countless other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of White and Day Colonial Mortuary located at 901 Torrance Blvd., Redondo Beach, California 90277. Visitation will be Tuesday December 1st from 6PM until 8PM at White & Day Colonial Mortuary. A celebration of life will be at 11AM Wednesday, December 2nd, at Pacific Crest Cemetery Chapel, Redondo Beach, California with her Nephew James A. (Jim) Wainwright officiating. Interment will be at Pacific Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Margie requested donations be made to your favorite charity.
