Muno, Marie L., a 57 year resident of Torrance, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 in Torrance. Born in Chicago, IL, Marie was 87 when she died. Marie was a member of St. Lawrence Martyr Church.
Marie was an avid gardener, genius at crossword puzzles, loved to entertain and to share her home. She was known in the neighborhood for her kindness and her candy dish.
Marie was an active member of St Lawrence Church. She worked for the Pregnancy Help Line and cooked every week for the Boys Center in LA. Marie was also a 22 year volunteer for the So Bay RSVP. She will be missed.
She is survived by Daughter, Barbara Lorenzen of Torrance, CA and Brother Robert Pohl. Preceded in death by Husband Howard.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Martyr Church on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 10:00 A.M.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
