I am very sad to hear of Mary Lou's passing. I will always remember her dedication to us kids while growing up in Hermosa Beach. I have some very distinct memories of her teaching us about how to brush our teeth -- you'd be surprised how often that memory comes up! Mary Lou was a good person, devoted to service and helping others. We could use more people like her.

Mary Lou's passing is such a great loss... She was such a force and positive influence in the farmers market community and I was very blessed that she took the time to impart some of her knowledge and wisdom onto me. What a gift! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You will be missed...
