Deboe, Michael David, a life-long resident of Redondo Beach, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2009. Born in Harbor City, CA, Mike was 33 when he died. He was a founder of the World Deaf Surfing Association. Mike was a graduate of California School for the Deaf, Riverside, and attended Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. He was a telecommunications expert fro Sorenson Communications. Mike also owned and operated Def-Mike Productions, and was Managing Partner for ShakaPhoto.com.
Mike's personal interests included surfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, snowboarding, event organizing, and DJ activities.
He is survived by his his father, David (Judy Miller) Deboe of Redondo Beach, CA; mother, Janet Deboe of Henderson, NV; sister, Heather Vance-Nelson of Las Vegas, NV.
The Service will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Saturday May 30, 2009 at 9am followed by a Reception in the Lighthouse Room. Burial will take place at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
