Monir Engheta, 93, passed away at her home in Torrance, CA on 4.5.2026. Born on 4.17.1932 in Tehran, Iran, she was a kind and loving mother, dedicated homemaker, talented seamstress, and a creative crafts person. Monir is survived by Mehrdad & Joyce Givechi (Son & Daughter-in-law), Mehrzad Givechi (Daughter), Nick Givechi (Grandson), Bita Givechi-Porubsky (Granddaughter), Cyrus Porubsky (Great Grandson), Iradj Engheta (Brother), Guiti Engheta (Sister), Nader Engheta (Brother) and many other family members. A celebration of life will be held at her residence on 4.11.2026 at 3 PM for family members and friends to share memories
