Rice, Opal Clara a 55 year resident of Gardena, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2005 in Torrance. Born in Kentucky Opal was 93. She is survived by daughter, Lenore Hicks of Covina; son, Hank Rice of Hermosa Beach along with five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be on Thursday, January 27th at 11AM at Evergreen Memorial Park in Los Angeles
