

Oscar graduated from Carson High School in 1973 and furthered his education in Welding at S.C.R.O.C., and Horticulture at El Camino College.
His career spanned over 30 years in the Towing Industry. He started as a builder at Frank Scotto Towing in Torrance and eventually rose to the position of Operations Manager at Golden West Towing Equipment in Fullerton, California.
Known for his selflessness, Oscar was a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife, Debra; Children, Lydia, Jesse and Carlos; brother, Arthur; sisters, Sandra and Yanina; grandchildren, Gabriel, Olivia, and Gavin; daughter in law, Sara; son in law, Thomas; granddaughter in law, Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Jazmine and Michael. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Maria.
Oscar cherished spending time with his family, taking trips to Mexico, and riding his Harley.
In his younger years, he enjoyed working on cars, a hobby that reflected his lifelong love of hands-on activities.
A service to honor Oscar’s life will be held on November 22, 2024 in Torrance, California. His legacy of generosity and dedication to his family and work will be remembered by all who knew him. He will truly be missed.
