My deepest condolences to the Davis family for your  loss of such a beautiful, generous, and loving man.  I donâ€™t believe that I have ever met anyone like him before , and never knowing what Godâ€™s plans are, It will be a long time before I meet anyone like Phil again.  I am a better man for knowing Phil. God put us together in that second floor meeting room at the Los Angeles VA campus  for reasons that only He knows for sure. But this humble mortal in recovery  had the privilege to watch Phil spred his love and message of hope to literally thousands of Veterans. I was a recipient of that love and I will never forget Phil for all that he did for me and so many other lives that he touched.  Truth be told, it can never be measured how many lives that were positively affected by Phil. Like a pebble dropped into a pond, the ripples of  Philâ€™s love and goodness will continue to spread and awash lives that we will never see.
