Phyllis, I will miss you catching my eye across from you when I attend the 8:00 a.m. Sunday service at church.  Will miss you making me laugh at the silliest things. Though the smile of my sister cousin Phyllis is gone forever and her hand I cannot touch. I still have so many memories of her I loved so much. I consider myself blessed to have had Phyllis Jean in my life. She was compassionate, giving and Lifted my spirits with laughter. Driven by her Faith in God, my beloved sister cousin is now reunited in heaven with her mother, father and grandmothers. We will keep her forever in our hearts and continue to keep her husband Jerome and son Jerome Jr. in our prayers.

Phyllis, I am reminded of the late 70s where the only people l knew ln LA was you Jerome Terry Carolyn the Adams and me. We were like family. All from Cleveland wayyy out west in sunny cali having pure fun. You would cook we would all eat and then you would give me a doggie bag to take home. Thats the level of care you took of a single young and sometimes dumb Krazy guy. You continued that kinda care throughout my lifetime. You illustrated what a true friend is. You remain one of the best friends l ever had. RIP

I could not have had a more genuine, caring and fun-filled friend and neighbor than Phyllis.  I will truly miss our weekly walks, occasional bike rides, and sporadic talks.  Jerome, Sr. and Little Jerome, be strong, keep the faith and know that God will see you through this storm.  With much prayer and lots of time, the pain will become less.  I will miss my friend SO MUCH!

My dear Phyllis...... There are no words that I can say that would justify why we are where we are. Unreal is the best way I can describe it. Your life showed love and real friendship. The best type of friend to have, thoughtful and kind. I can hear your voice in our exercise classes counting for me. It won't be the same at the Sparks game without you. I am going to miss you...
