Rogers, Ronald Dean, a 44 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2005 at his home in Torrance, CA. Born in Arkansas, Ron was 69 when he died. He is survived by wife, Jane Rogers, daughters Renee Riker, Rhonda Hoff, Robin Broswell, son, Randy Rogers, all residing in the South Bay, and sister Oddis Johnsen of Las Vegas, NV. He has 5 grandchildren, Lindsey, Lisa, Austin, Jenna, and Laina. Ron opened “Ron Rogers Auto Service†in Lawndale, CA 35 years ago where his son, Randy, will continue to operate the family business.
A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, December 28th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rice Mortuary in Torrance. Memorial services will be held at Hope Chapel in Hermosa Beach on Thursday, December 29th at 10:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
