Therese (Terry) was born in Brooklyn, New York January 25, 1932. She passed away at Torrance Memorial Hospital on December 18, 2010 after a valiant battle with Lymphoma and its complications. She was surrounded by her loving family Ellen, Carol, Rob, Jeanne, Bill, Sue and Mike.
She attended New York City schools where she developed her love of education. She met Bob in High School and their love developed from then on. She attended a private college and worked for the Dean of New York University (NYU) and the CEO of a large chemical company before she married Bob and moved to New Mexico where they both worked in the Nation's atomic program. She became a Navy wife while Bob was on active duty. After the Navy, many moves followed, and her beloved children were born across the country: Ellen and Carol in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Rob in San Jose, California; and Jeanne in Bronxville, New York. She adored her beautiful Grandchild, Kylie Grace, and loved spending time with her.
Her love of education continued and she worked for the Palos Verdes School District for many years. She loved her boss, her colleagues, the teachers and students. She had many friends who she loved and was always available to help. Every day was a challenge and her love of life always continued. She will be missed by all.
