Heidi and I are saddened to learn of Bill’s passing.  Bill, Judith and their daughter Hillary were our neighbors in Princeton many years ago when our children were very young. They were wonderful neighbors and friends and we cherished them as such. We were sorry to see them move away as Bill’s work required them to relocate. He was such a sincere, gentle and kind person, so thoughtful and understanding. We will always remember him with great affection and send our love and deepest sympathy to Judith and Hillary….

I worked with Bill at Hughes Electron Devices Division.
He was one of our Cathode, Ion Thruster and Plasma Physics gurus, very smart and fun to work with.
