Thelma R. Gray

Thelma married George Gray Sr. who preceded her in death in February of 1984. She worked for 30 years as a custodian at NMC and owned and operated Gray’s Kennel in Mayfield for about 15 years. Thelma loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren. She was kindhearted and well known in the community, as she easily made friends. She was a very generous woman; she enjoyed helping others and would have given her last dollar to someone in need.

Thelma is survived by her twins George (Meg) Gray, and Pauline Gray, grandchildren Jeana, Paige, and Sophia Gray, Step-daughters Fran Kadrovach, Georgia Reicha, and Edna Milne, brother Donald (Betty) Tuttle, sister-in-law Evon Tuttle, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Also surviving are her beloved dogs Louis and Sweet Pea. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, two sisters, and one brother.
