She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of the late Howard Richard Whiting and Mildred Adaline Leedy Whiting.
Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Brown of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Barbara Allen of Sacramento, California; her sons, Daniel Leatherman of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and David Leatherman of Ceresca, Michigan; her sister, Janice Vandlen of Battle Creek, Michigan; her grandchildren, Christian Allen, Jamey Allen, Michelle Bellingham, Nicole Badger, Pam Feret, Deniece Scrimger, Faith Leatherman, and Brandon Leatherman.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home, Tucker, Georgia.
