Barbara Gwin Holland, age 95, of Atlanta, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Born June 30, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia, she is preceded in death by her parents, Frances Morgan and Cecil E. Gwin; and her husband of 34 years, James Douglas Holland. She is survived by her daughter Penelope Leslie Holland.
Barbara was a proud member of the Delta Air Lines family as a flight attendant who loved working the overseas flights to London, Paris, and Frankfurt.
After early retiring from Delta, Barbara volunteered many years at the Dorothy Benson Senior Center as well as with other charities and was actively involved with the local chapter of AARP.
Barbara loved supporting the Delta Clipped Wings organization and their many local charities. She was also a past president 1969/70 and proud member for over 50 years.
Barbara enjoyed spending her 70’s and 80’s traveling the world with her daughter Penney. They visited Egypt, Turkey, China, Russia along with numerous European countries. She also enjoyed her dream trip - an Alaskan cruise.
