I knew Brett from the TKE fraternity at Culver-Stockton College. First time I met him he was the friendliest guy.  He was so smart and had a great sense of humor, very dry and subtle. He was so curious about the world. He really cared for those around him and it is truly heartbreaking on what he had to endure with his health.  He sent me a grinning elf sitting on a baseball, that I will always treasure. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ellen, Emily and Zach. Know that he was much loved and admired.
