My fondest memory of Granddaddy was at his pool. He loved it when we visited him even if it was once every few months, and the memory I'm talking about is when I tried a Mini Oreo for the first time. He was curious as to how I'd like them considering I was not too fond of regular Oreos at the time, and boy it made him happy when he saw how much I loved it. I miss you every day Granddaddy, I look forward to seeing you in the New System and teaching you about Jehovah.


We were very sorry to hear of Charles  passing. He was a special person and a good friend and did so much for our church. He will be missed. Ann and Lee Eldredge.

Many fun memories with Charles and Jackie when attending Moss reunions. A beautiful family and so gracious. I am sorry for your loss but know he is in a wonderful place. Love to my cousins 

When my family came to Mountain Park , it was the year after the church had been founded. The church was very small and  you knew everyone. Charlie and Jackie Moss were so kind and welcoming ! My parents thought the world of them both. When I got married ,  Jackie was our florist for the wedding. We didn’t consider anyone else! Charlie always was so kind and always ready with a big hug. He will be so missed by everyone... his family , friends and the church. Rest In Peace!

Charlie was one of our most favorite people.  Any time that we saw him at church or in the community, he was genuinely glad to see us. His sweet smile and spirit will always give us blessed memories. He also had such a cute sense of humor.  
Thank you to the family for the drive through 90th birthday celebration. It was wonderful to see him. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers and say a special thank you to God for bringing this wonderful man into our lives.

I am so sorry for your family's loss, Mr Moss was one of the greatest people I've ever known & I know he is whole again with the Lord & his precious "Jack" He Loved all of his family very much. I am Praying for  God's Peace & presence with you all during this tender time

Charles was a wonderful man! I only got to see him just a handful of times but he was always so nice to me. His son Bob is my stepfather. My fondest memory is when my boys were very little and we were visiting with him. Bob and my mom had a cat named Fireball and my oldest son Tyler was terrified of him! Fireball came running through the livingroom and Tyler jumped in Charles’s lap and screamed out “somebody get my brother”. I still remember the laughter from Charles! Sweet memories! He will be missed! 

I will miss Charles so much. He and Jackie were so good to me. I will be watching this service and praying for peace and comfort for all the family, friends and loved ones. 

  I'm so sorry for your loss of such a kind and true gentleman. Charlie  was so helpful to my mother prior to her passing away in 2012. I remember how he built railings so she could safely go down the steps in the garage.  Also, I remember that he served as the church historian for MPUMC, as did Jackie for many years.

Dear Family of Charles. 
So sad to hear of his passing. He meant a lot to my Mom and me throughout the years. David, Bobby and Cindy - we basically grew up together. Some good memories. I hope you can concentrate on the memories of him and your mom and the house on Brownlee.  Your dad was a kind person who tried to help others. 
Thinking of you. I picture him in heaven playing cards with my mom, using matching table cloths and napkins!

I do not know Mr. Charles personally but I'm a member of MPUMC.  My deepest sympathy to the family during this time of grief and sadness. Rest in eternal peace Mr. Charles.

Charlie was a great friend - always the perfect gentleman.   He loved people and everybody loved him.   He was a great asset to the senior adult group (SAS) at Mountain Park United Methodist Church.
