Clyde R. Clyde R. Meagher, Jr., 83 of Tucker, GA died Friday, May 17, 2013. He was born in Auburn, AL the son of the late Clyde R. and Luckie Thomas Meagher. Mr. Meagher was a 1952 graduate of Auburn University. He was Division Chief for Western Electric. He was an Eagle Scout and served as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Meagher was a member of Embry Hills United Methodist Church and a member of B.P.O.E Lodge #78. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Park Meagher. Survivors include his daughter, Linda Meagher Stumbo of Freemont, CA; his son, Mark Meagher of Albany, GA his grandchildren, Meghan Jackson, Matthew Stumbo, Christy Stumbo, Landra Black, and Katie Hobbs. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 11 am at the Embry Hills United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Fullerton officiating. Interment will follow at 2 pm (CST) in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Auburn, AL. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
