He was born in Carhuaz, Peru, the son of the late Juan and Ziola Figueroa Torres.
He was a furniture inspector for Rich's and Macy's.
Mr. Torres was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dorila Asencios Torres of Atlanta; his daughters, Nancy Torres and Ziola Torres both of Atlanta; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Anita Torres of Huntington Beach, CA; his sisters, Aida and Yolanda Torres both of Huaraz, Peru; his brother, Manuel Torres of Huaraz, Peru; his grandchildren, Alexander, Sarah, and Sophie Torres.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2 pm in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sat. from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
