Tommy was a marketing consultant for the Dalton Citizen.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Bolen Deese; his daughters, Mary Patricia Deese Breedlove, and Julie Trippe Deese Swanson; his parents, William and Elizabeth Deese; his sister, Mary Beth Smith; his brothers, Michael Deese, and Alan Deese; his grandchildren, Mary Kayla Breedlove, and Zack Swanson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Father Joseph Shaute and Chris Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wed. from 12 p.m. until service time.
