Born in Toccoa, Georgia, she was the only daughter of George and Pauline Davis. She grew up with her three brothers and moved to Atlanta as a young adult.
She worked in the business office of General Electric. She met and married Sanford Kohn and they had a son, Michael.
She enjoyed working her magic with her plants and flowers and never passed up the opportunity to travel. She has been to all 50 states and several countries.
She is survived by her son Michael (Shelley) Kohn, grandsons Jeremy and Spencer, brothers Sam (Evelyn) Davis, Doug (Marlene) Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
