She was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Brannan. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Brannan of Decatur and Sandra (Laurence) Smith of Hampton, her grandchildren, Kaley Cathey of Newnan, Caitlin (Matt) Swymer of Locust Grove, Jeremiah (Hannah) Smith of Sharpsburg, and Julie (Ryan) Kennedy of Woodstock, and her great-grandchildren, Levi Swymer and Elizabeth Cathey and others in her extended family.
She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Little Five Points. She worked as a statistician for Sears, Roebuck and Company before marrying her husband of 33 years and devoting her life to her family.
She was an active member of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church for nearly 50 years and also enjoyed being the secretary for her Sunday School class for many years.
She was a kind, loving, and generous lady who always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by all.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM
