Ralph M. Pacheco, Sr. of Smoke Rise, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2010. He was born November 11, 1924 in Tampa, FL, attended Georgia Tech and served in the Navy during WW II. He was the devoted husband of Pauline Myrick and they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. They had one son, Ralph M. Pacheco, Jr who passed away in 2008, and one daughter, Gayle Pacheco Simpson. He is also survived by one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, two grandsons, four granddaughters, two grandsons-in-law, two great grandsons, one great granddaughter. Ralph retired from Atlanta Gas Light as a Mechanical Engineer where one of his greatest achievements was designing the air conditioning system at Underground Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tucker First United Methodist Church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 28, at 3:00 p.m., at Tucker First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
