Steve, and his twin brother Scott, were born in Alberta, Canada to Elaine and Norman Campbell. He spent his primary years in Parma, MI before moving to Tucker, GA in 1960. After graduating from Tucker High School in 1963, and with a passion for flying, he obtained his private pilot’s license. In addition, he became a commercial truck driver and held various Equipment and Operational Management positions throughout his career. In his spare time he enjoyed working with his hands on wood-working projects and found a niche for building rocking horses and cribs for his grandchildren. He also supported the Tucker High School Football Program through countless hours of cutting grass and transporting football equipment for Coaches Mike Falleur and Keith Maloof. He enjoyed restoring old cars, mainly Corvettes and during his retirement years you could find him hanging out with the “boys” at Hinesley/Warren Body Shop in Tucker. Steve personally built his dream retirement home in the North Georgia Mountains with a little help from his family and friends and enjoyed boating on Lake Chatuge. He would do anything in the world for you as long as you didn’t ask.
