I had forgotten that Rebel was her middle name, but it could not be more fitting.  Everybody loved Tracey because she was Tracey!  She always marched to her own drummer and was so true to herself.  I have so many fond memories of when several of our families from church would travel together to both Florida & the mountains every year. Tracey could make me laugh just by entering the room.  She just made life more fun when she was around.  The thing I remember most was the greeting she would always give me, "Hello or Oh Hell, whichever is appropriate."  I think it was just a nice way not to say "Oh no, not Tina again!" with a few of those famous eye rolls.  I loved that crazy girl.  We didn't stay in touch, but I always enjoyed seeing her at EPCC Homecomings, funerals and other gatherings over the years.  I am so thrilled that she found the love of her life in Gail.  They had a wonderful relationship that many people don't get to enjoy in this life.  And a very supportive family.  Everyone should be so lucky.  May I offer my most sincere condolences to that family (Cookie, Lynn and Max) and her many friends and loved ones.  This world has definitely lost a very bright light and she will be greatly missed.  I look forward to that giant EPCC reunion when God calls us all home again.

The Tyler's, Guffin's and Lee's were like one giant family.  Prayers for Cookie and her family.  It seems like just yesterday we were at EPCC then CCF.  We will all be together in about 30 minutes of God's time and there will be a giant reunion.  Peace and prayers to your family.

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Tracy's death. If I hadn't sent her a text yesterday I may never have known that she'd passed. I've known her and Gail (RIP) since 1980. I didn't see them that much over the years but Gail cleaned my teeth .. since the 90's. They always sent me a card for Christmas eve festivities. Tracey was always the life of the party. She knew how to make you comfortable and how to make you laugh. She was literally one of the funniest people I knew. I will miss her greatly.  Hopefully she's back with Gail. I miss them both now, very much.

As with thumbprints, each of us is unique; but even as "Tylers,"  born on Confederate Memorial Day, her middle name "Rebel" became a reputation to be lived up to. Tracey broke the mold!  From the time she and Lynn released the brake on our new Volkswagen "Beetle" and rode it down the pavement into DeLowe Drive,  she was a bright spot on everyone's horizon.  You can always tell a Tyler, but you can't tell us much!  So it was with Tracey.  She was active in youth group at EPCC and knew the Bible and the Lord.  After she discovered her niche, she and Gail became inseparable for well over thirty years and mourned her too-soon departure two years ago.  As we age, we Tylers all bear some resemblance to each other and after her Dad, my brother, passed, she told me once, "Uncle Bobby, you've gotta stop lookin' so much like my Daddy."  To me, that was a supreme compliment because he was my "second Daddy," being 14 when I was born.  While she was in hospital we had a couple of happy, prayerful visits which increased my confidence that she was "prepared" for whatever journey lie ahead.  We celebrate her life and will share with joy what she meant to each of us.  Much love! - Uncle Bobby

Tracey was the funniest girl I just about ever knew. We all played with each other growing up at EPCC.  We had all gathered for a funeral a few years ago-I forgot whose but it was a very sad and solemn occasion. When the service was over many of us old friends were gathered together and Tracey says,” Hey, let’s all go to the beach like we used to”. I have many memories of her and her brothers and parents but this memory stands out! Bless you, dear friend.

God broke the mold after making Tracey, that's for sure. She was one of a kind... the good kind. This world is a better place because she stopped by to visit us all for a number of decades, before moving on to her just earned reward, and reuniting with her beloved Gail. I guarantee you there is much joy, love and laughter going on Upstairs right about now. I am blessed to have known her, and to have had her path cross my own in this journey we all call Life. Rest easy and enjoy your After Life...you  certainly earned it.

I grew up with Tracy at EPCC. She was a few years older but I thought she was the coolest ever!  I cherished the memories when she’d let me go with her and the older kids to eat after church on Sunday night. She always made me laugh and feel empowered.  We all looked up to Tracy and wanted to be like her!!  I’d lost touch with her over the years but thinking about her made me smile.  RIP my friend and keep everyone in Heaven laughing. Will see you again!

Lynn, Max, Yolanda & Cookie, you all are in my prayers. I have known & loved having Tracey as a friend since she was in 10th grade & I was in 8th. She was truly a kind, funny & generous friend for a lifetime! Tracey filled a room and made sure everyone laughed and felt special and that was a gift to all who knew her. She is remembered with love, laughter & appreciation for her generosity and unselfish spirit. I had the pleasure of spending her birthday with her last year & treasure that & many other memories of times at her home, reunions & the BHS Christmas Luncheon. She was a talented cook, party host & schoolmate! RIP, Tracey! You are always loved & never forgotten! 🌹

I knew Tracey most of my life. My mom grew up next door to her dad. We lived in the same neighborhood and had lots of fun times especially at the pool. Tracey was a true forever friend. She was always there to lift you up when you were feeling low.  Kenny and I are both devastated at her passing. We are thinking of you Lynn and your entire family! Love to you all! 

I am grateful for the days we share with those whom we love especially when we lose them. Memories of that time together will keep them in our hearts forever.
