He was born in Tucker, GA the son of the late William Clyde Wells and Ruby Kennedy Wells.
Mr. Wells worked as a Plumbing Engineer for Rosser.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Rebecca Paulk Wells in addition to his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Becky Mericle; his sister Dianne Moss; his brother, Jimmy H. Wells; his grandchildren, Will Mericle and Lizzy Mericle.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Wright officiating. Inurnment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service.
