

At the age of 6 years old, Andrew Jr was baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost. He participated in the Special Olympics from elementary through high school. He sang in the school choir and was a soloist. Andrew Jr. graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1996.
Prior to leaving Tucson, Andrew worked faithfully at Flowing Streams in the Desert Apostolic Church and was employed at Wild Oats.
In 2003, Andrew moved to Lafayette, Louisiana, eventually settling down in Baton Rouge. He attended Ark of the Covenant Ministries and worked at a local restaurant.
In 2008, Andrew returned to Tucson. He attended Apostolic Morning Light church under Pastor Willie Grigsby and later, placed his membership at Apostolic Deliverance Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Lock, Jr.
Andrew worked diligently as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Usher, and Sunday morning Chaplain. He worked faithfully with the food pantry, communion set-up and outreach. You could find Andrew always willing to assist Pastor Lock with anything he was asked to do. Often being picked up early in the morning or late hours to assist with cleaning the church and pool. He could be trusted to assist others who needed to use the baptismal pool or church facilities. He was a resolute worker. Andrew worked diligently in evangelizing, informing others of the need of baptism in Jesus’s name with the infilling of the Holy Ghost. He was always willing to assist with baptisms. As a Saint of God, Andrew was extraordinarily dependable, he understood and exhibited the attributes of a faithful servant of God. He was committed to serving God. Andrew was always on time when it came to the house of the Lord.
Andrew lived with his paternal grandparents and was a great assistance to them.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa O. Lock, his maternal grandmother, Ersa Lee Harris, his cousin, Grace Brown, Uncle Sidney Swoopes and Aunt Johnny Louise Swoopes. He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Andrew Lock, Sr., (Brenda), Stepmother, of Menor, Tx., his sisters, Jessica (Travis) Felix, of Lafayette, La., Gabrielle (Nathaniel) Glasper, of Menor, Tx., his brother, Aaron ( Ariel) of Ennis, Tx., Uncle, Samuel (Dorothy) Swoopes, of Tucson, Az., his Paternal grandparents, Clarence Lock, Sr., Dicie Lock, Aunt, Janet Danyfield, Uncle, Pastor Clarence Lock, Jr., a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service for Andrew will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A visitation will occur Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
