Anita Barbara Simonton (maiden Kuhn) passed away December 11, 2016. Anita was born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, the daughter of Harvey Chester and Lois (Stagner) Kuhn. Anita married Chester Ray Simonton on May 22, 1947 in Belleville, Kansas.
Anita is survived by 3 daughters and 3 sons, Connie Vining of Tucson, Margaret Simonton of Tucson, Stephanie Simonton of Tucson, Sandy Simonton of Simi Valley, CA, Steven Simonton of Valley Springs, CA, and Richard Simonton of Rolla, MO; sister, Donna Dee Knehans of Delia, KS; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 19 from 10-11 am at Desert Rose Heather Cremation and Burial. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
