Armando Gilbert Rivera

Armando Gilbert Rivera, 85, went home to our father in heaven on October 6th, 2022.

Gilbert is survived by his children Armando, Juan, Sandra, Rene, and Alexander. As well as many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son David (Vicky), his infant son Javier and grandson Chadd Rivera.

Gilbert was born on March 28th, 1937, and raised in Tucson where he met Beatriz, and together they had 6 children. He later married Hilda and together they had one son.

Gilbert was a strong and loving father, who worked doing construction to provide for his family. He passed on his love for NASCAR, and motocross to his sons and grandsons. After retirement Gilbert continued to show up and work beside his sons hanging drywall for years to come.

Gilbert’s, visitation for Armando will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
