

He was born on January 13, 1949 to Alfonso and Guadalupe Jaramillo in Auga Prieta, Senora Mexico. He moved to the United States at the age of 8 and attended school and graduated from Pueblo High School and then went on to the U of A until he joined the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. While in the Navy he was stationed in Long Beach, CA.. where he met the Love of his life, Denée Prettyman, and they married on March 16, 1973. They had 3 daughters who they loved dearly. They moved to the Winkleman/Kearney area where he worked for ASARCO for 30 years. He was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn along with his wife on June 23rd, 1986. He then became known as Bro. Val.
Val and Denee enjoyed traveling among the brethren and attending the Colorado Camp Meetings. Bro. Val labored in the Ministry and often spoke of God’s goodness and love.
Baldemar was preceded in death by his parents Alfonso and Guadalupe, His brothers Carlos and Rene, his sister Letticia, and grandson John Walecki.
He is survived by his wife Denée Jaramillo of Oro Valley, AZ, his daughter Marisela Easter and husband Sean of Sapulpa, OK. Angelica Walecki and husband Adam David of Crawfordsville,OR. and Sylvia Jaramillo of Oro Valley, AZ. His sisters Irma Mendez and Sandra Ward, and brother Alfonso Jaramillo Jr. and wife Carmen all of Tucson, AZ. 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 23, 2023 at the Del Angel Funeral Home. There will be a viewing at 9 am and service will begin at 10 am. Graveside services will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
