The family moved to Arizona in 1953, where Barry attended Tucson Public Schools and eventually graduated from the University of Arizona. Before retiring, Barry worked in the restaurant industry in the Tucson area for over forty years. He was a member of Thunder Mountain Moose Lodge #2475, big fan of NASCAR, football, and an avid cat lover.
Survivors are brothers Kevin (Maura), Brian (Monica), sister Marianne Hamilton (Brian), nephews Trevor, Brendan (Kimberly), Colin, Sean (Katie) and Michael, niece, Carrie, and great-nieces Esther and Lillian.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona in Barry’s name, would be welcome.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1, at the Cow Pony from 2:00-4:00. Funeral Services to be held on Sunday, November 2, at East Lawn Palms, with visitation beginning at 9:00 in the morning.
