Bernard Paul Briggman was born in Winthrop, Iowa on December 25, 1935 and passed away peacefully on November 16, 2020. Bernie enjoyed a long life in Tucson, Arizona. After graduating high school he proudly served our country in the United States Navy and was a dedicated veteran throughout his life. Many knew him from his working years as a heavy equipment operator at Duval Mines in Sahuarita. His favorite activities were hunting and fishing throughout the state. He was the kindest man and we all have stories of him helping us or someone close to us.
He is survived by his loving wife Elma, their son, Damian Whalen and daughters, Pamela Boland, Ramona McCane, Carolyn Carlson, Margaret Sanders, Edie Sickman, his sisters Mary Ann Towler and Kay Noon, and his brother Richard Krieger. Bernard also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 5 nieces and a nephew.
Donations in Bernard Paul Briggman's memory can be made to Outdoor Experience for All.
Due to the many limitations this pandemic has placed on us and the desire to properly say goodbye, a celebration of life will be planned for later.
