Dear Rothman Family,

I just saw that Bernie passed away earlier this year. You have my most sincere condolences as I just found out watching the Emmy awards In Memorian segment. I got to know Bernie through my late father Jack Shayne. Together they worked on shows together while both attended McGill University in Montreal and remained friends over the years. Many years later I had the opportunity to work with him in Montreal and to watch and learn about the ins and outs of writing and producing a comedy series. He will be missed.

Memories From Montréal  where we grew up and enjoyed the richness and fun of lives well lived.  .      Memories of a lifetime of friendship and laughter and caring and enormous creativity . I send my deepest of sympathies to his wonderful family who he spoke of so dearly with pride and love.  Bernie I will miss our calls and the joy
we had in sharing our memories. Rest In Peace dear friend. You will not be forgotten.   With love Twinkle !
