I only knew Alex for a short period of my life. He was a light. The day I had met him I never would’ve thought I would one day call him a friend of mine. We were very different people! Yet, he surprised me. He had a good heart and was truly a good person. Alex never failed to put a smile on my face and could always make me laugh. I look back on the time i spent near him always laughing and having a good time. I appreciate getting to know him even if it was a short amount of time. Thank you for coming into my life Alex. 

Dear Family
Vedii and I have been deeply saddened by this tragic loss of a son, a nephew, and a grandchild who was yet in his teens.  Words can never bring you comfort or heal the pain. But, know that as parents ourselves and grandparents also, we do share in the knowing that there can be no greater loss than this. We hope that the future will bring clarity to the past and some release to your present and future. Alex was beautiful and fine.  God bless you all.

My only son, Bradley Alexander Lewis was honored today at the East Lawn Palms Cemetery by a small group of his loving family and friends. After a lovely service many of us shared our stories of Alex’s deep love, joyful spirit and his compassionate nature felt by all those he loved. Alex changed my life the day he was born and made me determined to be the best father I could be. He touched the souls and warmed the hearts of all who knew him making friends everywhere he went. He worked hard and was determined to make the most of his life and he motivated his friends to be their best selves. He was a gentle and kind soul who loved his dog Jupiter, enjoyed the outdoors, sunsets and the night sky.  He deserved the chance to learn, grow and love to the fullest and his life passed way to quickly. I am so,thankful for our time together but now I miss him dearly and my heart aches for more time with him. He is at home in the loving arms of God. I love you son. 

As the grandfather of Alex, his sudden death has shocked me and all of our family. His life, which had so much promise and was only beginning,  was tragically ended. I think about how he could have lived a long life, traveled and been an asset to everyone he touched. I can only imagine him being a father which will never happen.  We will always remember him as a good humored jokester who could make a serious event turn into a smile and fun. May he rest in peace.
