Caroline M Shepard

Caroline was born April 30, 1931 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Cassius Haller and Leonora Krause, sister to Patricia M Tressler (Kerm). Caroline was married to Robert "Bob" C. Shepard, all have preceded her in death.

Survived by: Son: R. Scott Shepard (Lori) and Grandsons Brian, David, Eric and Trevor of Castaic, California.

Daughter: Cheryl Kelliher of San Tan Valley, Arizona

Nephew: Mike Tressler {Kelly) Sharif, of Clinton, Ml

Niece: Laurie Cooper (Brian) Evan, Marissa of Jackson, Ml

Caroline had a true servant's heart and always desired to be the hands and feet of Jesus in serving others. She was a 71 year member of the Order of Eastern Star. She and husband, Bob (married August 13, 1955) served as Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron in OES Chapter 452 in California, 1973. Praying hands were chosen as the symbolism of acts of service during their term. Caroline proudly volunteered at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Tucson from 2011- 2018. She was an enthusiastic advocate in educating others in the needs of this charity. To this day, many still save their aluminum tabs from their beverages, and the proceeds still go to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Her ever-present smile and unwavering sense of humor welcomed people into her heart and enabled people to respond to her love for all. She served with listening ears, a warm hug and an encouraging word. Even to the end with her Dementia she never wanted to lose her sense of humor, and the Lord made sure she didn't! In addition to her family and service work, her dogs played an important role in her life; George, Bo, Casey, Sweetie, Bonnie and current Sweetie-Pie, who resides with her daughter Cheryl and her dog, Macie.
