

Charles F. Vogt (Chuck) 4/16/1928 - 8/25/2011 Chuck was born in Wheaton, Illinois and lived most of his life in Wisconsin, before moving to Tucson in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Jean Vogt of Tucson; daughter, Jennifer Vogt of Manassas, VA; sister-in-law, Susan Medenica of Presque Isle, WI and cousins, nieces and a nephew. Chuck was a graduate of Beloit, WI High School and attended Purdue University after serving in the U.S. Navy from 1946-48. He spent his career as a civil engineer. Chuck loved to learn: oil painting, knitting, reading, wood working, Tai-Chi, jazz and classical music, nature, and the outdoors. The joys of his life were country-western dancing, flirting, buying clothes for his wife of 48+ years and pride in his daughter. Everyone remembers his smile. Celebration of his life will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in the Reception Room at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson.
