Charlotte Anne Kimball

Charlotte was born to parents Phronia L, and Arthur W. Jones November 15th 1936 in Pocatello, Idaho.

She was raised on the Upper and Lower Bar BC Ranch's in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where her parents worked. She started school in Jackson where she and brother "Bill" and sister "Norma" rode a sled to to the highway to get on the school bus. The family moved to Pinedale, Wyoming in 1950 , Father Art Jones was the Manager of The Stockman's Club Bar and Phronia, operated The Woods Hotel attached to The Stockman's Club Bar.

In 1952 Charlotte moved to Idaho Falls with her Father who was training rodeo stock and being a Cowboy. There she met her future husband Jimmy B. Leon and father of her children.

Art Jones moved his horse training operation to the Rincon Stock Farm to Tucson, Arizona. Where Charlotte graduated from Tucson High School.

Charlotte is survived by two sons Arthur Albert and Sonny Ray Leon, daughters, Tracey Louise Rosthenhausler and Catherine Anne Miller-Eagleton. Oldest son Jimmy Jay Leon preceded her death October 23rd, 2000. Jimmy B. Leon still lives at the Leon Ranch with Art, Sonny and Tracey. Mom Loved each one of her 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren very much.

Charlotte was a Friend to many a Cowboy and Cowgirl. She got along with everyone she came into contact with at Team Penning Events to Team Roping Events. Her Sons with Dad, still hold Team Roping Events at the Leon Ranch.

A Memorial Vigil will be held at Freedom Fellowship Church. 1520 N. Melpomene Way Tucson, Arizona. 85748. Saturday April 29th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Followed by a burial at The Leon Cemetery.
