David Ruiz Beltran, 89, of Colton, California, passed away on Sunday, 11 February 2018, in Tucson, Arizona. David graduated from Colton High School and also attended San Bernardino Valley College where he received a certificate in Political Science. He served in the Armed Forces Department of the Army during the Korean War and retired from General Dynamics Pomona Division.
David loved sports and lettered in football, basketball, and baseball – a proud Colton High Yellow Jacket. David was a member of the semi-pro baseball team the Colton Mercurys and was inducted into the Colton Sports Hall of Fame in 2016.
David was survived by his wife of 57 years, Connie, his daughter Anna (Jim), his sons Gino, Ernesto (Nellie), and Arturo (Pat), five grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of East Lawn Palms Mortuary in Tucson, Arizona, and a graveside service will be held at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery in Colton, California.
