Born in Flint, MI on Nov 20, 1922. Retired from AC Spark Plug, a division of General Motors, in 1981. Chamberlain Manufacturing moved Don to Arizona in 1982 where he and his wife took up residence in Green Valley. Since retiring from Chamberlain, Don has worked at various area golf courses, made custom golf clubs, and enjoyed golfing.
He leaves behind his wife of 70 years, Nathaleen, daughter Donna Jean Smith, son Eric Bristol (Beverly), 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
