A 1966 graduate of Palo Verde High School, Don proudly served in the U.S. Navy until 1970. He retired from a 34 year career with Farmers Insurance.
Don had many hobbies including playing and coaching softball and baseball, woodworking, reading, and trips to the casino. Above all, his greatest joy was time spent with his family.
Preceded in death by his father, Dean and brother, Mark. He is survived by his wife, Jenny; daughters, Donna Michailou (Michael) and Alicia Rocha (Rosendo); son, Matthew (Faith); eight grandchildren; Emarae, Marissa, Raydon, Eleni, Angelo, Ryan, Christian, Luke and expected twin great-grandchildren; mother, Hilda; sister, Sandra Maeser; brother, David (Maureen); sister-in-law, Lucyanne; Best friend, Steve Suarez (Gloria); many nieces and nephews; and his cherished dog, Cici.
A private service will be held at East Lawn Cemetery
